Ok, so I've definitely been bad about keeping this updated lately!!! The move is getting so so SOooOOooO close!! My mom and I have spent the entire week COMPLETELY going through my ENTIRE house, throwing away old stuff (over 6 35gallon trash bags full), boxing up stuff to sell in the next garage sale (over 12 boxes), boxing up stuff I want to keep but that won't fit in the apartment (who knows how many boxes!) ... and then re-organizing the stuff that will make it on the move! ... let's just say we're EXHAUSTED :/ But it feels SO good to have it all DONE!
The movers come Monday to pack up the house, then will load everything on Tuesday ... My mom and i will probably leave Thursday to drive to Alexandria, and we pick up Tim at the airport Friday night ... then the movers meet us at the apartment Saturday to move everything in! Needless to say, it'll be a VERY busy weekend!
My mom will fly back to Indiana on Tuesday (she'll be staying to help decorate and put everything away!) Gotta love moms!!! :) Tim and I will be back that weekend already for a wedding! One of my friends from elementary school through college is getting married! So we'll be home for that, then driving his car back to Virginia so both of our cars will be there safe and sound! :) Keep us in your prayers for safe travel and smooth packing/unpacking!!! We'll keep you updated on how everything goes!
